Experimental Studies on the interaction of Heechumwhan and Hydralazine, Atenolol, Nifedipine and Furosemide

Abstract
These Studies were conducted about the interactions of oriental Herb drugs and western chemical drugs when they were administrered together at same experimental animals. We choosed HEECHUMWHAN as orientalherb drugs and several antihypertensive
drugs
(Hydralazine, Atenclol, Nifedipine, Furosemide) as western chemical drugs.
@ES The results were following:
@EN 1) The efficacy of combined administration of HEECHUMHAN and Hydralazine to hypertension predominated over that of indivisual administration of each drug and reduced the tachycardial side effect of Hydralazine.
2) The efficacy of combined administration of HEECHUMWHAN and Atenolo to hypertension predominated over that of indivisual administration of each drug and reduced the bradycardial side effect of Atenolol.
3) The efficacy of combined adminisration of HEECHUMWHAN and Nifedipine to hypertension revealed no significance that of indivisual administration of each drug and have effect on heart rate.
4) The efficacy of combined administration of HEECHUMHAN and Furosemide controlled the diuresis of Furosemide.
5) The efficacy of combined administration of HEECHUMHAN and Hydralazine was recognized as having effect of decrease blood pressure in S. H. R. and also having effect of decrease pulse pulse rate at Hydralazineinduced increase pulse rate.
6) The efficacy of combined administration of HEECHUMWHAN and Furosemide showed the tendency to increase the duretic volume and urinary electolyte, serum electrolytes in normal rats, and showed the tendency to decrease the electrolytes loss
induced as
a sido effect of duretic antihypertensive drugs.
7) The efficacy of HEECHUMHAN revealed no significance in renal failure rats induced by Hgcl2, and also revealed significance when they were administered together.
8) The efficacy of HEECHUMHAN revealed no significance in renal failure rats induced by Hgcl2, and also having effect of decrease BUN when they were administered together.
According to the above results, it can be concluded that HEECHUMWHAN promoted the antihypertensive effect, and inhibit the side effects of antihypertensive drugs.
